You can't skip the sorrow.

Too true.

Mmmmm...yes.

I also remember.

I remember like it was yesterday, laying next to my passed out mommy, and "remembering" that I "choose her". I swear to Jesus, I do. I always knew we came here together on a contract, before I ever heard of such a thing. And when I did here it, it was like YES. THAT just truth.

Thank you for sharing this. I am going to pass it on.

She had some amazing stuff to say. Stand in another place. I like that. :)

MO'N said I had to come over here and watch the video, so I did, and I'm glad I did (she's never steered me wrong!) because that was probably what I needed to hear. Stand in a different place. Who knew?!

Just when I was ready to declare myself done, done, done with today, with this week, with almost everything. I think I need to stand in another place.

Thank you. I needed this almost too much.

It's how we handle the sorrow that is so difficult and important to who we are.

The bright and vibrant colors in a masterpiece painting may be the part we most focus on but it is the darkness and the shadows that provide the contrast that makes the colors come alive.
