TOP 10 THINGS I LEARNED FROM "YOU, ME and DUPREE"

10. Marital issues are not caused by "others"

9. It's fun to say, "Blowin' 7 kinds of smoke!"

8. You can't judge a book by its cover

7. Playing is fun, and not a waste of time

6. It's good to say, "I'm sorry"

5. Moderation in everything, including moderation

4. Some "pods" take longer to develop than others

3. Our strengths are our weaknesses, and vice-versa

2. A friend in need, is a friend in deed

1. Love conquers all

I'm not even going to justify this post with a comment.

You, Me and Dupree?

Love that movie ...silly as it was...but I am such an Owen Wilson fan!

I'm a huge believer in finding the big ideas in unlikely places. Just like Melanie Griffith did in Working Girl.

Want to find life wisdom in an unlikely movie source?Four words:
Postcards From the Edge

See it, feel it, live it. And you have to watch it at least twice.

Hmm.... Love the list. I like number 5.

I like number 10. Love conquers all. God's love does conquer all and we need to learn from that.
Much love

When my brother was up, he brought this movie with him. I was surprised at how funny it was, in a silly way. I like to have silly laughs sometimes.

I liked #6 on your list. I have stuggled with this, instead of cutting people off, and I like this better. Feels good to be a grown up.

XOXOXO

Dude.

I LOVE when people find inspiration in unexpected places.

I just showed my class an episode of The Simpsons as an example of excellent timing and transitions.

It was an EXCELLENT visual aid, and they finally listened to something I presented!
