Let us accept the invitation, ever-open, from the Stillness, taste its exquisite sweetness, and heed its silent instruction.

Perspectives

Such a hard time of year to find stillness, isn't it? I am fighting the chicken-with-my-head-cut-off urges with every shallow breath I take.

My 2,000 item To Do list is going to have to wait. Wait until I've taken at least a few minutes to heed the silent instruction of Stillness.

That photo is magic. Stillness and I find it difficult to be together. I am working on it.

What a perfect photo to illustrate this. And very good advice, definitely for this time of year.

Yes. This is so true. It's so difficult to be aware of one's need to be still and almost helpless to do it.

I hope you find a moment of stillness. We got to soak in Bonneville's hot spring today. Very still...very calm...nice.

I have decided to relax this year. I will buy or do the essentials. The non-essentials may or may not be bought or done.

My usual feeling this time of year is melancholy. I had such wonderful childhood memories of large family gatherings and I get a little misty thinking of the grandparents and slews of uncles and aunts now gone. But then I think this is when my children are defining their traditions and their memories. And I think of ways to make it a terrific time for them. :)
