Stress, busyness, conflicts, end-of-year stuff, menopause, wild changes in temperature, all have been sabotaging my sleep as of yet.

And it's not been pretty.

I've missed the dreaming.

I've missed the peace.

I've missed the healing.

But yesterday I dropped everything and climbed into bed - mid day - and woke up three heavenly hours later.

Then at 7:00 PM I crawled back into my all-white bed, put my sleep mask on, ear plugs in, and fell asleep again. For 12 1/2 more hours.

15 1/2 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours has me starting to regain perspective.

But just starting.

There's definitely a nap in today's future.

Dang! I couldn't sleep that long no matter what. (Being a light sleeper is a curse.) Glad you went on a mini-vacation to Lala Land, though. :)

Hey Carrie I'm with ya! My husband and I decided at lunch yesterday that when we got home from work it was nap time. One child at work, one child at his father's we climbed into bed with our little shih-tzu, Caesar, and just relaxed. It was heavenly.

I get like that as well. I took two weeks off in May and slept 10 hours every night for 14 days, felt like a new woman. Enjoy your sleeps.

Must be working on some deep level stuff.
May you find your bliss.

Glad to hear you are beginning to regain perspective. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture, you know.

So glad you're catching up. So, was sleep deprivation behind the need for HH's visor treatment?

I've slept SO MUCH since school got out last Friday. SWEET! I really needed it.

I'm glad you are getting the rest you need.
