Is there a gluten free Bible? Because I'd like to start BANGING IT!
I cannot BELIEVE the difference in STM in just a few days. DAYS!
We're getting both kids tested immediately, and regardless of the tests, we're moving them (and me) in that direction.
I'm sold.
Watch out - I'm quickly becoming "one of those people."

Do tell! I've been starch-free, sugar-free and booze-free for almost 60 days...and I definitely feel better.
Only I slipped up with the champagne. Twice.
Oh well.
Interested to know your results...
I tried Foster on the rotation diet and all it yielded for me was A LOT of gray hairs.
But... but! When I started to lose weight, I knew I would have to give up grains. All grains. Lo and behold, not only have I lost 42 lbs - for the first time in YEARS I am not sick to my stomach...and no longer think I have IBS.
TMI, I know, but I think it's worth sharing. If you're willing to try enzymes, Gluten-eze and it's Dairy counterpart (forget what it's called) are worth their weight in gold, as is, ironically, Digest Gold.
xo
Oy Vey! Can't wait
can you make gluten free garlic toast?! :)
Jill - I am off to New Seasons to buy every kind of $10/loaf bread they have, 'til I find one he'll try!
If I had a beverage in my hand or in my mouth when I read that opening sentence "Is there a gluten free Bible? Because I'd like to start BANGING IT!" -- it would have meant the end of my laptop, surely. Lady, you are funny. Damn funny.
Just so you know, Keana's Candy Kitchen, the yellow house decorated like a gingerbread house (off mcLoughlin, on the way to oak's park), is also a restaurant serving breakfast, and gluten free! A rather odd place, totally decorated inside with plaster cakes, murals, etc... service can be slow, but Rojo might just love it... gluten free pancakes, toast, great home fries
Glad you're having such positive results!
Welcome to our club, we are glad to have you!
Honey, join the weird club. Check my site tomorrow for more gluten free start up tips. It took me so many hits and misses and now I kinda got it down, and I will have some links and recipes that you can print out and put in your GF notebook. I will save you some moola, too, it does get expensive!
that's great! so glad it's working for you.
The fact that so many people are gluten intolerant is a symptom to me of the bastardization of our food.
Can you spell GMO? I have no doubt that methods such as this have contributed to our food being poison and not food...in my not so very humble opinion.
Glad STM is feeling so much better. I hope everyone gets good results.
My youngest would only eat grilled cheese sandwiches and he was as skinny as Rojo. I was terrified that he would starve to death. It's seven years later and I am still greatful we changed eating.
We kept him alive on a gluten free brownie that I packed with all kinds of pureed foods until his appetite picked up (within days!!)
There's no guarantees though, so I hope your results are just as spectacular.
Have you heard of www.dailycoyote.net. She wrote a gluten free cookbook. It is under the "about us" tab on her website.
Me - Thanks for telling me, I just ordered it!
I've been gluten free for over a month now. No more stomach aches in the middle of the night. The best thing is that there's really good gluten free junk food!
Oh, crap. No accidents. I just sent off a DNA sample and another-shall-remain-unnamed-sample to be tested for gluten intolerance. Something tells me I'm headed that way, too.
Thank goodness dark chocolate doesn't have any gluten (does it????)
