Each of the 112,000 white flags represents 6 Iraqi soldiers and civilians killed in the war in Iraq.
The 3,000 red flags represent the 3,055 American soldiers killed in the war in Iraq.

Carrie, I just love that Reed College is acknowledging the IRAQI dead and wounded, as well as our own! That doesn't happen enough in our media, sad to say. After all, Iraqis love their babies, just like we do! Thanks for this great post.
