WE HAVE OVERCOME

44 years ago African Americans got the right to vote.
Tonight, an African American is the 44th president-elect.
All I'm sayin'.

We shall overcome,
We shall overcome,
We shall overcome, some day.

Oh, deep in my heart,
I do believe
We shall overcome, some day.

We'll walk hand in hand,
We'll walk hand in hand,
We'll walk hand in hand, some day.

Oh, deep in my heart,

We shall live in peace,
We shall live in peace,
We shall live in peace, some day.

Oh, deep in my heart,

We shall all be free,
We shall all be free,
We shall all be free, some day.

Oh, deep in my heart,

We are not afraid,
We are not afraid,
We are not afraid, TODAY

Oh, deep in my heart,

We shall overcome,
We shall overcome,
We shall overcome, some day.

Oh, deep in my heart,
I do believe
We shall overcome, some day.

Oh yeah! Uh huh!

Between myself and Michelle's kids, (mine are at home with fevers today) I'm thinking they are just purging all the nasty stuff from the last eight years.

Here's hoping it doesn't take too long....

Now that you mention it, Kario...my little old daddy is in a care facility. He threw up this morning, too. The care givers said he is #6. Maybe the little old ones and the little new ones are more sensitive and are working to outten the bad juju.

I've got one home sick today, too. Definitely more than a coincidence!
