TRUE TO ITS WORD

I've just completed my archetypal wheel as part of the work I did while reading/studying/applying the concepts in Sacred Contracts. Actually, if you want to split hairs, I just completed my SECOND wheel. I thought I was done on Sunday, even got out a protractor and made really pretty lines, but when I showed it to someone, they pretty much said, "No. Nice try. Now go back and REALLY do the activity."

This person ordered encouraged me to really consider the archetypes that were distasteful to me, and meditate on why that might be.

Oh. Like the BEGGAR? Yea. Really didn't want to think part of me resonated with that one! But it does. Profoundly. Turns out the beggar helps with developing loyalty and coping with betrayal.

Three people recently have pissed me off surprised me by suggesting I have "trust issues."

I'd tell you which astrological house the Beggar ended up in, except I haven't learned to trust you with that information.

Yet.

You strike me as someone who trusts other (and who can wisely discern when not to trust) and as a person who is trustworthy herself . . .

I know I don't know you as well as many others, but I'm just sayin'!

I have got to go dig out my wheel; think one of mine was "the prostitute" or something like that!! Which teaches you to TRUST yourself.

I'm TOTALLY intrigued by this, Carrie! I've not heard of this exercise, but it sounds great!

In my meditation group, we deal with sanskara - the crap that's churned up as you start up your spiritual practice. It's all those issues you've pushed aside, those things that you need to fix in your life, and it can be a huge obstacle to someone's spiritual growth.

This sounds like an identification with those issues. I'm for it (well, because I'm in denial maybe, but hey)!

It scares me to think about that old adage -- If you hate someone, you hate something in him that is part of yourself...or something like that.

Which all goes back to praying for the desire to forgive people who do us wrong, if not the actual forgiving part yet. :) Hugs 2U

But you will trust us one day, won't you?

You are at your very funniest when nerves have been exposed. Which is wonderful for those of us who are inspired by your courage, and ultimately freeing for you. Win Win - you can trust that! Love.

I live by the line... "never trust a man that says 'trust me.'" I don't think my husband has ever said that to me... thank goodness for him!

Someone just told me that I have trust issues, too, and it totally pissed me off! WTB? (What the blank?)

This sounds fascinating. I'm a bit emotional these days, so I don't know if I'd be up for this exercise. Is it emotional??? : )
