CHANGE, IT'S UP TO US, PLEASE VOTE!

From the song, "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard

"Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You've made it now"

Thanks, Anon. Here's the link to the Bob Herbert article in yesterday's NYT.

Most Oregonians have so now we wait. The bigger question is whether we are willing put forth the time and effort needed to recover from these last 8 plus years.

As you would say, "Go make a difference."

Carrie, you're clever. Go to day's New York Times article by Bob Herbert. He will be worth adding to your post.

I've been to three different polling places today taking others and myself and the lines early on were LONG. Good news is that more people care and are taking the trouble to vote!

It is a frenzy out there today. It actually makes you feel proud to be an American--a feeling I haven't had in a long time!
I believe he will win and I believe he will be transformational.
