UNBIND
Under every moment of anger is an enormity of sadness,
and under that a sea of compassion.     - Stephen Levine

The Greek word for forgiveness means to unbind.

Un-bind.

Be not bound.

Amen.

I really have to think about this, wrap my brain around (bind?) it -- thank you.

I could think this over for hours.

Gosh, it rings true, though. Un-bind... Yes.

This is within my control?

So much of our life has been controlled by what was done to us, what continues to be done to us by others.

How does one start the process of unbinding?

Given our cicrcumstances, to unbind seems much more palatable than forgiving them.

The student is thinking she may be ready, since you put it this way.

I don't know where you continually come up with these lovely tidbits but I'm sure glad you do.

Thanks for sharing. I'm tucking this one away.

Love.
