1) Rojo now wakes up at 4:30 AM 2) I wear pajamas 14+ hours a day 3) All I want to do is sleep 4) When not sleeping, all I want to do is eat 5) Day seems "over" at 4:30 PM, time for bed!
1.Have Rojo call me. It's 7:30 here. 2.Jammies are nice. 3.Sleep is nice. 4.Eat in bed, kill 2 birds with 1 stone. 5.Refer to # 2- don't have to ever get undressed for bed.
I hate the time change, too. My kids find it impossible to change their body clocks and are up an hour earlier, and I get no time to myself -- ARGHHH!
I have, however, donned "sweats" this morning (read: jammies), prepared to have everyone at my kids' school think I'm off to the gym after I drop them. NOT! I'm coming home for coffee, a warm blanket, and my laptop. Ahhh.
Ok, laughing out loud at this cafe. Read Suzy's post and almost spit out my coffee. You guys are f-u-n-n-y!! Sleep-deprivation speaking here - River was up at 4:15am the last two nights. Jeez!
"What...Are You Kidding?" the words of my 15 year old who acted as though he has never experienced the time change. Of course it now effects the ability to hang out downtown with his buds till 6pm. He found it an outrage that this 5:00 dark thing could happen!
The upside from a mother of "older" kids, they're all back in the nest earlier. That's a good thing.

Oh, but that extra hour of sleep . . . heaven! Oh yea, I don't have kids yet.

ReplyDeleteSo weird, my son (who I now call Red) woke up at 4:30 too, our lives are one!!
ReplyDelete6) It's dark out by 5:something, so no playing outside while I cook dinner. "But mommmmeeeeee..."
ReplyDeleteOn the plus side, happy hour seems to come earlier too. How 'bout some wine with that whine.
