WHEN CHOOSING A SPOUSE
When choosing a spouse
It's important to know,
Just what to keep
And what needs to go.
Take coffee, for instance
Some call it a vice,
If this someone's a spouse
You'll need to think twice.
It's important to have
Things you both treasure,
Things that bring comfort
And joy and some pleasure.
Treasuring love
Is all fine and good,
But coffee is something
Far misunderstood.
Keeping in mind
That most days are not tame,
Properly caffeinated
Keeps us all in the game.

What a delightful ditty! Thanks so much for putting your thoughts to rhyme.
